Who are we and what do we do?

Hi Tech Mobility AS NO922866546 (Hi!) offers ticketless parking under the brand name Sesam Sesam. The agreement is established using our website or app. The customer must register a payment card, their email address, mobile number and registration number of the vehicle(s) they wish to register in the service. The parking start and stop time is registered by means of automatic detection of the vehicle’s registration number and number plate, at points of entry and exit in the parking facilities. The customer is charged for the parking of the vehicle, on their payment card, after the parking has ended. No additional fee is charged for the use of Sesam Sesam beyond ordinary parking fees. A user guide for the service can be found in the app and on our website. The service can be used in parking garages and facilities that Hi! specifies in its material and on our website sesam-sesam.com.

This website gathers anonymous information on all user sessions. We mainly use cookies for traffic analytics and optimization of content and UX. This information cannot be traced back to you.

What personal information do we collect from the people who use the app?

Sesam Seam may collect and receive personal information and other data from usage:

Customer Data

The app can be used to access or create an account. When accessing an account, the persons using the app will asked to enter an email address and a password to login to use the application. To create an account, you need to enter your name, email address, password, telephone number, a license plate number and a valid form of payment.

As with most websites and technology services delivered over the Internet, our servers automatically collect information when you access or use our Websites or Services and record it in log files. This information may contain device and/or location information.

The app is only an interface and does not store information locally.

Payment information

Our partner for payment processing is PayEx, which is responsible for credit management and billing of the service. The agreement assumes that PayEx confirms payment liability for the customer’s payment card. All payment information is masked and encrypted. 

When do we collect information?

We only collect information when you use the services, like making a parking visit charged through your account or making an edit to your account.

How do we protect your information?

Our back-office is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities in order to make your visit to our site as safe as possible.

We use regular Malware Scanning.

Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.

We implement a variety of security measures when a user places an order to maintain the safety of your personal information.

All transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers.

Third-party disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personally Identifiable Information. A data processor agreement has been established with any individual parking company that uses Hi! and/or Sesam Sesam in accordance with article 28 of the Norwegian Personal Data Act. Data storage follows guidelines given by The Norwegian Data Protection Authority (DPA) as well as Section 13 of the Norwegian Bookkeeping Act. Anonymization of data is executed out routinely, or as desired and at the written request of the customer themselves

Cookies – what it is and how it works

Most websites today use cookies extensively. A cookie is a small piece of data sent from a website and stored on the user’s computer by the user’s web browser. We use this data to record how you use the website, including which buttons you click, where you navigate to, how long your session is, which we browser you’re using etc. This enables us to customise the content and appearance of the website, giving you a better experience when browsing the web. Most web browsers (Chrome. Firefox, Edge, Safari, etc.) accept cookies by default, but you can manually change the settings of your browsers to decline cookies. Note however, that most websites will cease to function properly if you do so.

What we use cookies for

Google Analytics

Google Analytics records visitor traffic and enables detailed analysis of said traffic, usage patterns and trends. The data collected is used to optimize the user experience and site content. In line with Google’s privacy policy, no personally identifiable information is collected. All data is stored on Google’s servers. If you prefer, you can opt-out of Google Analytics.

Google Tag Manager

Google Tag Manager handles JavaScript and tracking tags for Google Analytics and third party software. It is used to optimize the website and set up ad services. All tracking codes are run through and handled by Google Tag Manager.

What’s stored: Navigation and certain actions on the website (e.x. «Add to cart» on an ecommerce site). The information is anonymized, and no personally identifiable information is stored.

Facebook Pixel

Facebook Pixel is an analytics tool used to measure and record the effectiveness of Facebook advertising. This information is used to:

  • Ensure that the right ad is displayed to the right user
  • Build ad audiences
  • Enable further Facebook ad tools

What’s stored: Which ads the user has been exposed to on Facebook, which sites the user has visited and successful conversions (made an order, submitted a contact form, etc.).

Hotjar

Hotjar records the user’s interactions on the website to help us understand how visitors experience the site. The Hotjar-script is a websocket connection that sends the following information to the Hotjar servers:

  • Changes in the HTML code
  • Mouse movements and clicks
  • Scrolling information
  • Keyboard inputs for white-listed events (i.e. non-identifiable inputs)
  • Statistics on viewport size, browser type, country of origin, etc.

Each tracked event is stored in Hotjar’s cloud database and is timestamped. This enables the sequential playback of the session’s events. No personally identifiable information is collected or stored.

Tracking pixels

Tracking pixels are used to track conversions and to provide a tailored ad experience. No personally identifiable information is collected or stored.

Collection of information

Services collect information through form(s) on the website. Submitting personal information through these forms is optional. If you choose not to do so, we may be prevented from providing you certain services/products.

  • Ecommerce forms for ordering a product or service
